Defected is heading to Bucharest for the first time on 16 October, bringing its internationally recognised house sound to MINA Museum for a night hosted by local promoter Le Petit. The lineup features Riva Starr, Low Steppa and Dumitrescu, with pre-sale tickets available now.

Founded in London in 1999 by Simon Dunmore, Defected has grown from a house music label into an international clubbing brand, with a history of residencies and events across some of the scene’s best-known venues. In Ibiza, the label held a long-running residency at Pacha before moving to Eden in San Antonio in 2017. It later took over Tuesdays at Ushuaïa in 2024 to mark its 25th anniversary. Its wider portfolio also includes Defected Croatia, launched in 2016 in Tisno, and Glitterbox, the disco and house party founded by Dunmore in 2014.

The Bucharest debut brings together three artists with distinct approaches to house music. Riva Starr is known for his playful, club-focused productions, while Low Steppa has built an international following through his bass-driven take on house. Romanian rising star Dumitrescu completes the bill, who recently debuted at DC-10 for Solid Grooves.

Le Petit will host the event at MINA Museum, having previously brought Pyramid Ibiza to the venue for its first Romanian appearance. The upcoming date marks another international club brand’s arrival at the space, with Defected’s long-standing connection to house music meeting Bucharest’s local scene.

Defected lands at MINA Museum, Bucharest, on Friday, 16 October 2026. Tickets available now on livetickets.
