Kilogram & KIDPLUGG chat South African deep house

South African duo Kilogram & KIDPLUGG have just released the super dope ‘Your Luv’ on ‘Dealt With Records’. The track takes you back to the vintage sounds of 90s New York house music—something you’d be fortunate to unearth while digging through the crates at A-1 Record Shop in the East Village.
Oozing with soulful energy, Your Luv features chopped-up vocals, crackling playback, and a punchy bassline complemented by hypnotic, off-kilter pads, giving it an authentic underground vibe. It’s a nod to the real old-school sounds of King Street, Strictly Rhythm, Nervous Records, and evoking images of a packed, sweaty basement club.
‘Your Luv’ carries a timeless quality while still feeling fresh in 2025. This collaboration stands out as a love letter to the oldskool house music scene
With the South African scene rapidly growing and releasing some extremely high quality House music the pair discussed some of their most influential music  with nightclubber.ro from their homeland which has helped shape their sound…
