Refuge NYC reveals Spring line-up with Ricardo Villalobos, Maher Daniel, Galcher Lustwerk, Desyn, Shinedoe, Victor Calderone and more

Brooklyn venue Refuge NYC has unveiled the first wave of artists for its Spring season, bringing together a mix of underground heavyweights and international selectors across house, minimal and techno.
Leading the programme is the launch of a new monthly residency from New York house pioneer Victor Calderone. Starting on 15 March, Calderone kicks things off with a Sunday marathon set running from sunrise into the afternoon as part of his new residency, matter.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Calderone has been a defining figure in American house music for more than three decades, with landmark residencies across North America and a catalogue that spans collaborations with global pop stars through to underground club staples. His new partnership with Refuge NYC taps into the classic New York tradition of long-form DJ sets, designed for deep dancefloor journeys — this time delivered through the venue’s much talked-about REX sound system.
Speaking about the new residency, Calderone said: “Refuge NYC is the real fucking deal. The sound system is on another level, built for the way I play, and the energy from such a diverse, open-minded crowd has made every night unpredictable in the best way. Bring on the residency.”
Beyond Calderone’s monthly sessions, Refuge’s Spring schedule features a wide spread of artists across daytime parties, Saturday club nights and the venue’s Sunday Selectors series.
Things begin on 13 March with Cell Injection, Shinedoe, Max Gardner and Adra delivering a night of forward-thinking house and techno, while UK groove specialist Tim Green heads up a Refuge Daytime session on 14 March alongside Maxi Degrassi, Hoss and Yonit.
One of the key moments of the season lands on 4 April, when Maher Daniel celebrates 10 years of his label and event series The Other Side with a special showcase. The lineup features Chilean minimal icon Ricardo Villalobos, alongside Desyn, Galcher Lustwerk performing live, and Shvili.
Elsewhere on the programme are appearances from Mason Collective, Serge Devant, Mira, Nacho Isa, and an all-night set from salute. The venue’s Sunday Selectors series also welcomes influential New York figures including Jellybean Benitez and house legend Tony Humphries.
Refuge NYC continues to operate with a no-VIP, no-bottle-service policy, keeping the focus firmly on the music and the dancefloor. Phones are discouraged, reinforcing the venue’s raw, stripped-back clubbing ethos.
