This distinct identity has made her a standout figure in today’s underground scene.
Since her debut in 2012, Oshana has achieved a string of accomplishments, from licensing tracks to Fabric and performing on platforms like Boiler Room and DJ Mag, to establishing her own Psionic label. Peach

There might be a lot of Berlin-based artists on our list, but there are a hell of a lot of Canadian artists too! With a style that defies strict genre categorisation, her music spans house, techno, tech house, tribal, ambient techno, and beyond—all unified by a signature uplifting energy. The previous sentence perhaps explains just why her debut EP landed on Shanti Celeste and Gramrcy’s Peach Discs. On the contrary, Celeste is a seriously hardworking lady, as evidenced by her beginnings in Bristol's iconic Idle Hands store, to her demanding tour schedule, her label work and her dedication to new artists. Sugar Free

One of our favourite newcomers of the past few years, Sugar Free has quickly emerged to become one of Berlin’s most exciting DJs. A member of The Ghost crew, she credits their support for her rise, especially her first gig at Club Der Visionaere, which she describes as life-changing.
With roots in Madrid, Alejandra (Sugar Free) grew up surrounded by music, inspired by her father’s punk band and her mother’s work in independent record labels. Her journey included early gigs in Brighton and even DJing at events like the Rio Olympics, experiences that honed her skills and funded her ambitions. tINI

The first time I saw tINI was way back in 2010, at a midweek event in Berlin’s Watergate. Back then, she was still very much playing second fiddle to Loco Dice, who she was supporting at one of his Desolat parties. Though their paths cross less often these days, it’s tINI who’s delved deeper into the underground; in the process earning a reputation as one of the scene’s most astute and daring selectors.
Born in Munich and deeply influenced by an early exposure to hip-hop, itINI has forged her reputation as a DJ as opposed to a producer; a true rarity in today’s scene - but also a testament to her keen understanding of dancefloor dynamics. She’s also someone who’s repeatedly given back to the scene, as evidenced by her free parties and the countless emerging artists she’s supported over the years.

Virginia

Like many others, I was first introduced to Virginia thanks to 'Yours', her stunning vocal contribution to Steffi’s era-defining “Yours”. The years since have since cemented her reputation as one of the most multifaceted artists in live electronic music. Growing up in Munich, her career actually took off in the late 90s with early hit singles, leading to a passion for performing and touring. Inspired by the warm, analogue sounds of the 80s and 90s, her hybrid DJ/live sets seamlessly blend modern production with spontaneous live vocals, creating a dynamic and engaging experience.
