9FINITY release new EP by Liquid Earth

Secretundaze's 9FINITY imprint presents its sophomore release, the ‘Adventures Of Handy Boy’ EP by Liquid Earth, a producer who rarely strays away from releasing music outside of his own labels.

The EP cements the modus operandi of the burgeoning label; no-nonsense, discerning dance records from artists at the vanguard of modern club music with a versatile 4 track release complete with a pair of digital bonuses by the talented California native.

The release kicks off with ‘Handy Boy (Casa De Mama Mix)’, a track characterized by its fierce drums and vocal chops; think prime Junior Vasquez through a contemporary lens and you’re getting there. The A-side wraps up with ‘Big Niks Speed Garage’, a subtle yet driving track which showcases the intricacies of Liquid Earth’s productions.

The flip kicks off with ‘Lick Of Life (Just A Little Mix)’. Again, we see the Barcelona based producer’s dexterity on the buttons, this time fusing a jazzy bass & synth topline line with shuffling, impactful drums. Closing off proceedings is the wonderful ‘Clubber’s Exit’. Vocals provided by the man himself, with vocoder manipulation in full effect, Freels solders 80s sleaze with a highly functional house groove, making for a perfect closing stanza to an impressive first outing for Mr. Liquid on the imprint.

There has been massive DJ support on this one so far from the likes of Peach, Ben UFO, Bashkka, THC, Raresh, Dr Banana and Alex Kassian to name a few.

A natural synergy has unfolded from the collaboration between Secretsundaze and Liquid Earth, exemplifying the label's commitment to fostering close, dynamic relationships with its artists. This was underscored by a recent Secretsundaze b2b Liquid Earth performance at the Mixmag Lab in London, a masterful convergence of two creative forces in flawless harmony.
