DJ Caspa returns with new mix

After a period away from the spotlight, DJ Caspa returns with renewed energy and a deep, soul-soaked statement for the latest edition of the Intr0beatz ‘Parallel Groove’ Podcast Series.

Titled Parallel Groove 005, the mix marks a powerful comeback for one of London’s understated underground masters. A Journey Decades in the Making

Floating around the music scene for over two decades, Caspa picked up mixing at just 16, instantly recognizing it as a lifelong calling. Growing up in East London during the early ’90s, his musical education came through record shops, pirate radio, and the raw energy of early rave culture. From acid house and Balearic influences heard through his older brother’s warehouse party stories, to a deep obsession with Jungle that saw his vinyl collection grow at rapid speed, Caspa absorbed it all.

His early radio appearances read like a who’s who of UK underground broadcasting: Weekend Rush, Pressure FM, Rinse FM, Deja Vu FM, Unknown FM, and Magic FM. The buzz of broadcasting never left him, and his long-running online show The Underground Sessions became a platform dedicated to championing emerging talent — including Intr0beatz himself.

Caspa’s club résumé is equally impressive. From residencies at Pacha Presents, Percolate and Funkatron in London to regular appearances in Manchester with Poetry In Motion, he’s carried his sound across the UK and beyond, with Germany becoming a particular hotspot during the height of his touring years.

Strength Through Adversity

Over the past two years, Caspa stepped back from music to focus on recovering from a serious illness. Now having overcome that challenge, he returns revitalized — ready to deliver guest mixes, take bookings, and step confidently back into the booth.
