Eshach Debuts with “Ada”

Karakol launches its catalog with Ada, the debut release from producer and composer Eshach, setting a clear artistic direction for the label from the very first release. Rooted in deep house, Ada is a refined, emotionally driven EP that balances club functionality with cinematic storytelling.

The release is deeply personal in its construction. As Eshach explains, “It was made in the past year while traveling and exploring nature and cities all over the world, from sketches on roads and planes to the studio recording synths, drum machines, percussions and real life sounds. The EP blends storytelling with dance floor, and it feels honest, emotional and fresh.” That sense of movement and lived experience is present throughout the EP’s sound design and flow.

The journey opens with “Intro (Bingin)”, an ambient, widescreen piece that immediately frames Eshach’s aesthetic. Lush textures and restrained movement create a sense of anticipation, acting as a gateway into the EP’s immersive emotional space. It’s a cinematic opener that feels more like the beginning of a film than a conventional dance record.

The title track “Ada” shifts the focus firmly to the dancefloor, driven by a deep, hypnotic groove and a funky, rolling bassline. Subtle rhythmic details and evolving arrangements pull the listener deeper with every bar, making it an effective late-night tool without losing its melodic sensitivity.

On “Am I Here”, Eshach explores Afro house territory, pairing expressive flute motifs with layered percussion and organic rhythmic flow. The result is warm, hypnotic, and fluid music that invites movement while maintaining an emotional core.

Closing track “Piantito” stands out as a particularly intimate moment on the EP. Built around a tender, expressive lead melody, the track unfolds patiently, blurring the line between a club track and a love song. It’s a strong finale that highlights Eshach’s compositional instincts and ability to communicate feeling through sound.

Eshach’s background plays a key role in shaping Ada. With years spent refining his craft alongside acclaimed artist Eitan Reiter, as well as experience composing award-winning soundtracks for animations and short films, his ability to translate narrative and emotion into music is evident throughout the EP. Performances at notable clubs have further grounded his cinematic ideas in real dancefloor energy.
