Fireberg releases Myami Rain EP [News / Premiere]

For their second music release, following Fireberg's "Call of the Phoenix EP," Mishbaka presents the "Myami Rain EP." This EP is a collaborative effort between producer Fireberg and vocalist J Hoard. It includes an original track and a collection of five remixes featuring the talents of glitch pioneer Prefuse 73, Detroit house veteran Rick Wade, and contemporary deep house artist J Gabriel.

The original track showcases J Hoard's impressive vocal range and technical skills, blending gospel and R&B elements with Fireberg's liquid drum & bass-inspired synth and sample work. The song conveys a message of embracing and appreciating one's life, including the achievements, setbacks, and the present moment.

Prefuse 73 reimagines the original vocal over a more elegant, half-time R&B backdrop, infusing it with his signature glitch and stutter sound designs. J Gabriel and Rick Wade each deliver dancefloor-ready remixes, incorporating elements from the original but with their unique styles. Rick Wade adds a touch of 90s nostalgia, while J Gabriel brings a contemporary, percussion-driven deep house vibe. To complete the package, Fireberg offers an alternative remix under his pseudonym Inbeatitude, introducing reharmonization and electro-acoustic instruments such as bass and wurlitzer piano. Additionally, an instrumental version of the Prefuse 73 remix and an acapella of J Hoard's vocal are included.

The "Myami Rain EP" offers a diverse and stylish musical experience with top-tier production from all contributors. Whether you're enjoying a mellow evening in a lounge or dancing up a storm at the club, these tracks have you covered. Just be sure to have your umbrella ready for this musical journey.
