Guti returns with new EP ‘Oh Yeah’ on his label El Nuevo Sonido Latino.
Known for his remarkable ability to blend the driving energy of house and techno with intricate layers of jazz, live instrumentation, and Latin rhythms, Argentina’s Guti continues to stand out as a leading figure in the electronic music world. After years of performing at some of the globe’s top venues, the forward-thinking producer and live artist has shifted his focus in 2024 towards nurturing his new label, El Nuevo Sonido Latino. This platform serves as a creative space for exploring the fusion of Latin sounds and contemporary electronic music, quickly becoming a go-to for genre-defying releases that reflect the experimental nature of Guti's live performances and studio work.
Following recent collaborations with Sarkis Ricci on their Modal Tune project and rising talent KinAhau, Guti’s latest EP ‘On Yeah’ marks his second solo release on the label, further showcasing his innovative sound. The title track ‘Oh Yeah’ opens the EP with uplifting female vocals, driving percussion, and euphoric melodies, echoing his early jazz influences. The B-side, ‘El Sonero,’ is a standout homage to his Latin roots, skillfully blending traditional elements with catchy vocals and modern textures to deliver an infectious dancefloor anthem while maintaining his signature groove and cutting-edge approach.
