MOGA Essaouira confirms 2025 return with Apollonia, Praslea, Priku and more
MOGA Essaouira has locked in dates for its sixth Moroccan edition, returning to the Atlantic coast from October 1 to 5, 2025, with a first wave of artists that includes Bonobo (DJ set), Apollonia, Bedouin, DJ Tennis, Folamour, Patrick Mason, Praslea, and Saoirse.
Once again, the festival splits across two distinct parts: a two-day OFF programme in Essaouira’s historic medina featuring pop-ups, panels, and intimate sets in hidden courtyards, followed by the full-blown IN experience across four stages at the Hôtel Le Golf d’Essaouira & Spa.
Launched in 2016, MOGA has carved out a reputation for its laidback blend of house, minimal and deep global grooves — all wrapped in Essaouira’s warm coastal charm. The 2025 edition will host over 70 acts across the Main, Garden, Wild and Terrace stages, running daily from 2PM until 3AM, with palm trees and plunge pools never far from reach.
But MOGA isn’t just about the dancefloor. Alongside the music, the festival builds out a full programme of wellness sessions, culinary experiences, art installations and cultural workshops, designed to spotlight local talent and offer something beyond the usual big-room blueprint.
Expect a crowd of around 16,000, with a strong international presence and plenty of familiar faces from the MOGA tribe. Like its sister event in Caparica, Portugal, this is a festival with a vibe — equal parts spiritual retreat and dance celebration.
