Outdom Records reveal new split EP
Outdom Records, the Parisian-based label, unveils its fifth vinyl release, bringing together a fresh collaboration between two accomplished artists on the international electro/tech scene.
One side features Nizar Sarakbi, the renowned Ukrainian-Syrian producer and member of Sonic Resistance. Known for his unique sound design and signature quirkiness, Nizar explores stripped-back techno, electro, minimal, and dub influences. His contribution includes two powerful after-hours tracks that build hypnotic tension with skipping grooves and raw, edgy textures. These tracks stand out for their unconventional rhythms, packed with percussive surprises, vintage undertones, and an otherworldly vibe.
The other side introduces BOOH, a prolific French producer and head of BOOOoo! Records. His offering is an intricate, robotic journey through space, featuring chatty vocoders, gritty electro basslines, and acidic vintage tones layered over a raw techno rhythm. The A1 track includes clever references and samples from 2001: A Space Odyssey, creating a sci-fi-inspired experience designed for the dancefloor. A bold release not to be taken lightly.
This record marks a new chapter in Outdom Records’ sonic exploration, embracing a leftfield techno and electro aesthetic. With its versatile tracks, suited for both peak-time and after-hours sets, and its nod to the surreal aesthetics of the late ’90s and early ’00s, this release pushes boundaries in both sound and visual design.
