Track of the Week: Arno

This week's Track of the Week, chosen by Arno, is ‘Flying Turns’ by Crash Course in Science. A track that reflects Arno’s impeccable and clued-in taste, this one earned repeated plays by some of the scene’s foremost players.

A new wave/techno track that recalls similar works by the likes of Anne Clark and Fad Gadget, Arno admits to being “enthralled” by the track upon first listen. Introduced to it by his one-time studio partner (the sadly-departed techno legend Heiko MSO), Arno pitched the idea of a Ricardo Villalobos remix to his partner Frost. Frost, initially dismissing the idea as crazy, soon came around. And the rest, as they say, is history – with the track rereleased via Pressure Traxx featuring some brilliant remixes by Ricardo, as well as Arno & Frost. So in the end, it all worked out perfectly — just as Arno envisioned.
