UK legend Silverlining makes Romania debut on 11th March at Spatiu Tehnic for Spring Edition by Underground Office and Zebra Rec

Join them for a 12-hours journey into the depths of discerning electronic music on the 11th March at Bucharest’s acclaimed Spatiu Tehnic club.

“One of our biggest productions to date”, said the promoters,  the night is sure to be a very special one. Headlined by one of London’s foremost underground talents in the shape of Asad Rizvi aka Silverlining, he’ll be making his debut Romanian performance with an extended set. A regular at influential London clubs such as fabric, The Cause, The Lion & Lamb, Silverlining has been active in the capital’s electronic music scene for over two decades. In 2022, he released his long-anticipated debut album, Simulacra, a fitting snapshot into the Silverlining sound and one that was duly lauded by fans and critics alike.

Alongside Silverlining, the night will also feature local house hero Andrei Ciubuc. Another Romanian who’s beginning to earn a solid reputation overseas, he’s been signed up to the much-respected Sunrise agency for some time, and will feature at Sunwaves SW30 edition in April. The line-up is completed by residents Matt Hauser and jammBoy.

Hauser is another man in a rich vein of form. Himself a Romanian native, he’s been based in London for some time, where he’s fully embarked in all things music; even recently completing an intensive DJ course at London Sound Academy. Under the tutelage of fabric resident Peter Pixzel (a course teacher at London Sound Academy), he’s since forged his own unique DJing style, so much so that he’s now played alongside Pixzel, Half Baked’s Greg Brockmann and renowned London nightspots, The Egg, The Glove That Fits and Coqbull Soho, where he represented Romanian booking agency, Zebra, for whom he recently signed and who he also repped at the Zebra Night Show in Iasi before Dubtil. Iasi’s jammBoy, meanwhile, is the cofounder of Underground Office and is quickly earning a reputation as a shred warm-up DJ.

Pareidolia, the renowned VJ, will be the creative force behind the visual landscape of the upcoming event. With her unique blend of music and video, Pareidolia has established herself as one of the top talents in the industry, perfoming for Sunwaves and Club Guesthouse.

Hosted in conjunction with Zebra Records, and their media partners, Nightclubber.ro and Feeder.ro (big up to Vlad Maxim for the killer artwork design!), the latest instalment in the Underground Office story is sure to be one that’s remembered long after the night’s last track has dropped.

“We’re thrilled to bring this amazing lineup of talented DJs to Romania and offer a night of unforgettable music and experiences” said the event organisers.

UK-based fans can also visit on a budget too, with flights from Luton Airport to beautiful Bucharest starting at £40. The venue is also next door to a 4* hotel (with prices of €100 per night), which features a spa, room service and more.
