Bross mixes Nightclubber 215

After a year-long Break, Bross is back, this time with a new release via Satya Records. We caught up with Bross recently – who also provided us with a brilliant mix for our podcast series. Here's what he had to say...
"It's been a while since my last release — and honestly, I needed that break.
The past year has been different for me. Becoming a father shifted my energy and priorities in the best possible way. I spent less time touring and more time at home — with family, with music, with myself. And somehow, that brought me even closer to the reason I started all this in the first place: the love for house music.
This new EP on Satya feels like the perfect way to mark my return. 3 original tracks that reflect my current mood and sound, plus a beautiful remix from Yokoo — the label boss, a friend, and someone I've admired for years.
We’ve known each other for a long time, played together a few times, and this release feels like a full-circle moment. Satya is a label built on emotion, storytelling, and authenticity — values I deeply resonate with."
Back to the essence of deep house
"In the studio, I found myself reconnecting with that vibe from 8-10 years ago — when labels like All Day I Dream shaped a new way of experiencing house music. Emotional, organic, deep — but not in a formulaic way.
Lately, I feel like people are ready for that again. Ready for music that breathes. For sets that build a story. For tracks that aren’t just made to explode for 30 seconds on social media."
"I spent a lot of time in the studio over the past months — and there’s more music coming soon. Releases on my label, Trubadour Records, Bandcamp drops, and some upcoming projects with bigger labels too.
The next one will be very special: Nocturna, a summer-inspired single, will be the 3rd release on Trubadour Records. A track made for sunsets, rooftops, and long summer nights."
Daytime stories & deep house feelings
"Besides the releases, I’m also focusing on creating more daytime events this summer in Bucharest and beyond — together with friends, in beautiful locations, with the kind of music that feels like a journey, not just a party.
The dance floor doesn’t always need strobes and darkness. Sometimes it just needs a story, sunlight, and a proper sound system."
Still doing this For the love of it
"After all these years, nothing beats that connection between music, people, and energy on the dancefloor. Trends will come and go, social media will always change the rules — but real music, real stories, and real passion never go out of style."
Late Night Shopping is out now via Satya Records. Buy/listen to the release on Beatport.
