Mike Nasty Returns to His Deep House Roots with 'Endless Groove'
Out October 16, 2026, on Nasty Tracks, the New York DJ and producer delivers a soulful collection shaped by jazz, R&B harmony and the enduring language of classic house music.
New York DJ, producer and label founder Mike Nasty returns with Endless Groove, a seven-track EP landing October 16, 2026, via his own Nasty Tracks imprint. Blending deep house foundations with soulful textures, jazz-inflected chords and rich R&B harmonies, the release looks to the roots of the genre while keeping its focus firmly on the dancefloor.
Featuring five original productions and two dub mixes, Endless Groove draws from a musical vocabulary that stretches from 1970s jazz-funk to the intimate energy of Chicago's house underground. The influence of pioneers such as Larry Heard, Kerri Chandler, Moodymann and Theo Parrish can be felt throughout — not as direct imitation, but as part of the record's musical DNA.
At its core, Endless Groove is built around patience and repetition. Warm Rhodes chords, carefully layered harmonies and measured arrangements give the tracks room to breathe, allowing small changes in texture and feeling to unfold over time. Rather than rushing towards a climax, the productions embrace the hypnotic quality of a groove that develops gradually, making the EP equally suited to laid-back listening and deeper hours on the dancefloor.
The release is led by two singles that introduce different sides of the project. Infinite Jazz (Original Mix) arrived on September 18, setting the tone with its jazz-informed approach, while Wanna Dance (Original Mix) followed on October 2, offering another glimpse into the EP's soulful house palette.

The full release expands that sound across seven tracks: five originals — Infinite Jazz, Wanna Dance, Down the Ave, True Blue and Love — alongside dub versions of Wanna Dance and Down the Ave. These stripped-back interpretations bring the rhythm section and essential elements of each production to the foreground, offering DJs extended tools for maintaining momentum during the later stages of a set.
That balance between musical detail and practical dancefloor function sits at the heart of the project. Endless Groove is rooted in a tradition where the groove itself is the destination, with the flexibility to work at low volume on a Sunday afternoon or at full intensity on a Saturday night.
With more than 16 years in the industry, Mike Nasty has established himself as a versatile presence in New York's music and nightlife culture. Moving between house, hip-hop and R&B, he has shared stages with respected figures including Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Todd Edwards and Jovonn. Beyond the DJ booth, he is the founder of Nasty Tracks, an independent label dedicated to forward-thinking dance music, and has continued to develop his production work, including co-producing the Lion Babe and Busta Rhymes collaboration Harder.
With Endless Groove, Nasty brings those experiences back to a sound built on musicality, warmth and longevity. Rather than chasing passing trends, the EP celebrates the enduring appeal of deep and soulful house — music designed to move bodies while rewarding those who take the time to listen.
Endless Groove is available digitally and on streaming platforms from October 16, 2026, via Nasty Tracks.
