One of New York’s best new clubs launches SoundCloud series with 7hr Seth Troxler b2b Victor Calderone mix

Brooklyn club Refuge NYC has launched a new SoundCloud channel dedicated to exclusive recordings from the dancefloor, opening with a seven-hour B2B set from Seth Troxler and Victor Calderone.

Recorded during an unannounced after-hours session at the 500-capacity club, the extended set captures the two DJs locked into a long-form session, now available to listen to in full.

The new channel gives Refuge a way to extend some of its longer nights beyond the club itself, offering recordings of selected sets and moments from its programme while keeping the focus firmly on the dancefloor.

“Refuge represents everything I believe a dance floor should embody: freedom, connection, and the music,” says Calderone. “Being completely locked in with Seth for a seven-hour B2B felt like the perfect expression of that. I’m glad we captured the night and can now share the set, start to finish.”

The launch coincides with Refuge’s first anniversary. Located between East Williamsburg and Bushwick, the club opened a year ago with a music-first approach that sets it apart from much of New York’s nightlife landscape, operating without VIP areas or bottle service and built around its custom REX analogue sound system.

The Troxler and Calderone recording also arrives ahead of Refuge’s September anniversary programme, running from 5–27 September.

The month brings a wide-ranging series of bookings including Natasha Diggs, Deep Dish, The Martinez Brothers, Chris Liebing, Two Shell, Ahadadream and Rodriguez Jr. Live, alongside Refuge residents Victor Calderone and David Morales.

With the new SoundCloud channel, Refuge is continuing to document the club’s musical identity beyond its walls — starting with seven hours of Troxler and Calderone going deep.
